Name:
Jim Sellar

Jim Sellar

2008 will be my fourth year Great Britain Squad. in my sport, curling. I first started curling in 2001 and first joined the GB squad in 2004. I also competed in four World Championships and have won two British Titles and one Scottish Championship.
I have competed throughout Europe and USA & Canada. As we are moving into the final stages of our preparation for Paralympics in Vancouver in 2010 the work, committment and intensity is now also increasing. My long term goal setting is to be selected for Vancouver 2010 and bring back a Gold Medal. My short term goal is to get a podium place at the 2009 World Championships  if selected.
In my spare time I also play bowls and have  competed at World Championships at this sport.
I am fully supported by the SIS and UK Sport especially for the services of strength and conditioning, physio, nutrition etc.
